We all know that St. Francis de Sales has many great quotes like:

– “Be who you are and be that well in order to give glory to God whose masterpiece you are.”
– “A sad saint is a sorry saint.”
– “We cannot always do extraordinary things, but we can do ordinary things extraordinarily well.”

This week, I’d like to introduce you to a new quote that has quickly become one of my favorites. It is “Live Today Well!” I like this quote because it summarizes our spiritual journey and our daily journey in three short words. It reminds us that the only moment, and only time, that we can serve God and help others is in this moment right now.
Think about that…the only time that I can really be present and do something is in this moment right now.
The past is over. I cannot change it.
The future is yet to come. I can’t do anything about it yet.
But this present moment? I can do something here. I can do something now.
I can “live today well!”
